What? A
wiki is a website that allows users to collaboratively document and structure content. A famous example being Wikipedia.
Why?
- I wanted to organise my thoughts / notes in a structured way to improve learning
- By having content on the web, it was more accessible than just being on my home computer
- Often I have to switch between my home / work computer, so wouldn’t it be great if I could use both interchangeably without losing any content
- This was the main driver that made me consider setting up a personal wiki
